Start-up Dressidy Eliminates Checked Luggage and Provides Fashion With Ease for Travelers

FRESNO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Millions of women will only have to pack their carry-on thanks to Dressidy,
a start-up that looks to provide a personal shopping experience that
allows customers to select clothes for an upcoming trip that will arrive
at their destination and be picked-up upon their departure.

Customers who use the online-based company will be able to select
stylish clothes and accessories with live support of a seasoned personal
stylist. Travelers can select from fashionable items to wear for 4, 7 or
10 days.

As a start-up, Dressidy is counting on backers to fund its business. The

“As travelers we shouldn’t have to worry about airport lines. We need to
have more control of our time,” says Rana Almomani, Dressidy Co-Founder.

“We want women to travel and arrive completely relaxed. It is important
that they feel happy and beautiful before, during and after their
journey,” adds Javier Mata, Co-Founder of Dressidy.

The process is very simple. Women sign-up, create a style profile, and
select the clothes and accessories for their trip. The box then arrives
at their destination. Travelers can also buy any items they love. For
added convenience, Dressidy
will offer both a prepaid return shipping label and package pickup
service.

Weather conditions will be displayed on the Dressidy website. This will
be helpful in the selection of the right clothes based on the
destination’s climate. Scarves, jackets, and even umbrellas will be
offered for cities with rainy or snowy forecast.

Almomani and Mata, former MBA classmates, plan to continue Dressidy out
of Fresno, California, in hopes of creating more jobs for the local
area. They firmly believe in tackling problems of poverty to strengthen
Fresno’s economy.
