SACRAMENTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Childhoodcancerawareness—Keaton
Raphael Memorial (KRM) taps into the “Spirit of the Irish” with a
lively parade and gathering organized by restaurateurs Henry and Simon
deVere and Patrick Mulvaney. A rivalry has developed between the deVere
brothers and Mulvaney through a friendly challenge to raise funds and
awareness for child cancer research through this signature, annual St.
Baldrick’s event. This year, the challenge has gone viral, as Mulvaney’s
“Sactown Baldies” and “Team deVere’s Bald Crusaders” have enlisted the
support of some high-profile culinary professionals and taken their friendly
feud to social media.
