HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Changing Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: CHGT) is drawing on its deep well of
entertainment 3D printing experience as the company continues its work
with an up-and-coming independent movie studio.
Last month, CHGT announced it was in talks to provide 3D
printed movie props for a Texas-based motion picture company. Now
the studio wants to expand CHGT’s proposed body of work to include
converting important digital 3D content and assets into data files ready
to be printed using additive manufacturing.
“The studio has been quite impressed with CHGT’s broad experience and
expertise,” said CEO Marco Valenzuela. “Particularly our track record
meeting the entertainment industry’s exacting requirements. Precision
and accuracy are critical in order to make the illusion of what’s on the
screen become real in the minds of the viewers. While this is a new
partnership, we are already seeing great things from our work with this
studio and we expect this will be a profitable relationship going
While Hollywood still makes most movies, filmmakers have discovered the
Lone Star State. Several recent major motion pictures have been filmed
in Texas and have used Texas companies and studios for part of the work. These
movies include Transformers: Age of Extinction, No Country
for Old Men and the Spy Kids trilogy, among many others.
