CLEVELAND–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Flexjet
LLC, offering travelers access to the world’s most luxurious private
jets, today announced a 25-state, 41-stop tour of its new Legacy 450
midsized business jet from Embraer (NYSE: ERJ). Flexjet is the first and
only U.S.-based fractional ownership provider to offer the Legacy 450,
considered to be the most technologically advanced and comfortable
aircraft in its class.
“Since we announced our Legacy 450 order with Embraer last fall,
interest in it has been high. Now that the aircraft is here, the tour
was a natural,” said Michael Silvestro, Flexjet’s Chief Executive
Officer. “Once prospective owners see the Legacy 450, it will be clear
that it is by far the most compelling midsized aircraft available to
them in the fractional marketplace.”
The Legacy
450 offers outstanding performance metrics, with a cruising altitude
of 45,000 feet, a cruising speed of 536 mph/862 KM/H and a range of
3,337 statute miles/5,370 kilometers, sufficient for nonstop travel
between all city pairs within the continental United States as well as
such select over-water city pairs as Los Angeles-Honolulu and New
York-Dublin. The Legacy 450’s interior is the most spacious in its
category and has an exceptionally quiet cabin.
“The Embraer Legacy 450 is a quantum leap in midsized private jet
comfort, performance and technology, offering travelers a midsized
aircraft with quality and features associated with much larger and far
more costly jets,” added Silvestro. “We have grown our midsized program
in response to travelers’ desire for the capabilities and performance of
large-cabin aircraft at investment levels more commonly associated with
much smaller aircraft. The Legacy 450 gives them an outstanding new
option within this category.”
The Legacy 450 is part of Flexjet’s Red
Label offering, which features access to the world’s newest shared
jet fleet, flight crews dedicated to a single aircraft and
Flexjet-exclusive artisan LXi interiors that are the most distinctive
ever offered to travelers by a fractional provider. Red Label bridges
the gap between traditional fractional programs and whole-aircraft
ownership, providing a premium level of comfort and customization and
giving fractional owners the feeling that they are flying on their own
plane.
Prospective Owners interested in viewing the Legacy 450 may obtain more
