Watercrest Senior Living Group Congratulates Shannon Morelli for Academic Excellence and Career Achievements

VERO BEACH, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Watercrest
Senior Living Group celebrates the outstanding achievements of Shannon
Morelli, Director of Quality Services for earning her Registered
Nurse (RN) License and Associate Nursing Degree, graduating with high
honors from the Rasmussen College School of Nursing. Morelli was
selected as the ADN Graduate Speaker for the 2016 spring graduation
ceremony, delivering an inspirational address to her fellow graduates
and clinical partners.

Morelli completed the two-year nursing program while simultaneously
serving as Director of Quality Services for all Watercrest
Senior Living communities. Graduating on the Dean’s List, Morelli
also acted as Vice President of the Rasmussen Student Nurses
Association, Captain of the Rasmussen Students Relay for Life team and
as a member of the Rasmussen Leadership Academy.

Morelli joined the Watercrest team in March of 2013, drawn to the
organization by a shared passion for serving seniors and delivering the

As Director of Quality Services, Shannon oversees the clinical aspects
of all resident care, while managing the talented team of resident
wellness directors in each community. In October of 2015, Shannon was
instrumental in the opening of the premier Watercrest
of Lake Nona Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. In a feat of
proficiency, the 76,000 square foot, 80-unit senior living community
passed their initial AHCA survey deficiency free, just two days after
receiving their Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Orlando.
